Relaxation. It’s a wonderful thing. I don’t start classes until the 27th, so all I have is time to spare until my final semester of college begins. I should be more productive, using my time off wisely. This, however, seems to be out of my reach. I’m too busy enjoying my time off after the lack of a “summer” that I’ve had while in NYC. I know that at the very least I should be working on my book, or possibly getting a head start on my senior research project, but I just can’t bring myself to roll up my sleeves and get to work.
I’ve enjoyed visiting with friends over the past week, and there are still a few more I’ve yet to see. I’ll remedy that when I go out to the bar tomorrow night. I’ve done all the work necessary to ready the GFFL for the upcoming season. The draft is just two weeks away and I have spent a little time so far looking over roster reports and depth charts. I’ll be sure to spend more time on that next week, when I create my draft sheets.
As for now, I’m just going to keep on keeping on. I can afford to take a little time off from my life for a while, at least until something absolutely needs taken care of. Until then… ah, refreshing!
