Burst Your Light
Burst your light for all to see
For I too crave the light the dawn
But yet your dreams wash over me
This tender night beckons me forward
I wallow now in pools of silk
Fresh linens plucked straight from the garden
And soon trampled with dark unrest
The weaning moon, it calls me onward
How do I ignore this temptation?
How do I grant myself some peace?
How do I break these chains of unrest?
How do I get myself some sleep?
