Allow me to take you back, back one year minus one day, to the start of the 2012-2013 NHL season. There was only one word on the lips of fans at that time:
On January 19th, 2013, the NHL began a half-year schedule featuring 48 games, ending a very messy lover’s quarrel between league owners and the NHLPA. Words like Collective Bargaining Agreement and Memorandum of Understanding were buzzwords of the day.
