Jerome Bettis Inducted Into the Pro Football Hall of Fame
The wheels on the bus have rolled to a final stop in Canton, OH.
We have arrived at our destination.
Jerome Bettis, for a time, WAS Pittsburgh. He was the focal point of a team identity that was designed to impose “The Steelers Way” through blunt, brute force. Bettis was the sledge to hammer that system, that religious belief, down the throats of anyone who dare stand in the team’s way.
And he couldn’t have been a nicer guy about it all.
From his start with the Rams to his finale of finally getting that “One for the Thumb,” Bettis had incredible career.
Thanks for the bus ride, Jerome!
