Season 9 Finale
AP Report: PITTSBURGH – If all goes well with the final presentation for his senior research project (along with a generally favorable review of his paper) and if Lee can swing 50 more points in his math class, he will graduate from college. This will bring to conclusion roughly 9 fine seasons of college life, live and in living color. Many fans are sad to see it go, but all good things must come to an end. The productions costs were just too high to continue the series, and the lead actor was frankly getting too old to be a believable college student. So, after 9 years and countless episodes, the curtain will come down to thunderous applause.
The hit series that impacted and touched many lives will continue in a spin-off series. The yet to be titled series will involve Lee’s adventures after college. What type of job will he get? Where will he live? Will true love ensnare him? Will his evil twin come out of a coma to wreak havoc and go bowling? Fans can be sure to catch many of the previous cast in numerous guest appearances, frankly because they need the money. As Mel Brooks put it, “God willing, we’ll all meet again in Spaceballs II, the Search for More Money.”
Turn on, tune in and drop out… may the Schwartz be with you…
